This article addresses the issue of developing designs resilient hydrological infrastructures for cities facing sea level rise in Anthropocene. It undertakes short case studies differently scaled cities, three Global North and South. The aim is to investigate current water management situations order reveal potentials increased urban environmental resilience. Cities are approached as complex adaptive systems (CAS) negotiating uncertainty that concerns designing resilience, understood viable transitions their interlinked social, ecological, technological (SETS). main finding that, despite obvious differences, six cases surprisingly similar.
